Half-Marathon Geocaching
Today I have found a total of 66 cache in 7:22 while walking 24.4km. 50 of them are the complete “Statcache” series in the “Store Dyrehave”. The other 16 just came in as an add on – though the really nice caches are among these. All in all it was a great day, enjoying the nature and seeing quite a few nice spots.
Thanks for all the cache owners to make this day possible. Continue reading
Disc Golf meets geocaching!
Today some friends and I meat to play some Disc Golf and find a few geocaches. Disc Golf relay is a fun sport and a good reason to stay outside all day, a little bit like geocaching. If you have an afternoon you should give it a try. To get a bit of a distraction in between we also went ahead and found a few caches.
Cachen auf Dänisch (Caching in Danish)
Today I had one of my nicer caching experiences. I was just playing around with GSAK when I found a cache (GC3JCH9) near by that had zero finds. So I dropped every thing, got on my bike and went to find . After a few short minutes searching I discovered a few things. First, someone else had already found the cache and there were a few muggels getting interested in what I was doing. At this point I decided to leave the cache for later. But, as chance wanted it a fellow cacher (LECHEF69) appeared and we gave it another go, sadly, with no success. But here comes the happy “ending”, even though it was just the beginning of a great caching day.

Caching in Copenhagen
Today we have been roaming through copenhagen and found some nice places. The following caches composed our tour.
Le petit geomotorcycletour
Just a few days ago I have gotten my bike and today was the perfect opportunity to take it our for geocaching. The plan was to do the “Power Trail fra Vestskoven” and then get an ice cream in Roskilde. It all started out quite well but after we had successfully found caches 1 through 13 we failed on 14, 15 and 16. At this point we gave up on the PTV for the time being. We had also gotten tired of the hopping on and off off the bike at this point so we continued to Roskilde where we found a few more caches. Thanks for the power trail and all the other caches. We enjoyed finding them, despite our giving up on the trail

Cito Event in DK
GC3CJ9G - CITO Ballerup 10år
Today I have been to my first CITO event ever. It was quite nice and I have been CITOing with two other geocachers (thovijak and henrikhansen51) and as a result have to solve at least three mysteries we have found, which I have not had a look at until today.
Most of the caches we found where rather unspectacular, but out of the 14 geocaches released today we have only found one (Fiskehejre – GC3F1TR). But we did not try the others in any case.
I really want to go here: Junker – 52
Junker – 52 (GC2181) is a cache located in the middle of nowhere of Norway. Yet I think it would be really nice to go there. I’ll have to check that out in the near future!
Ten in a row!
Today I have finally gotten around to do some caching again. All in all it was quite a nice day. Thanks for all the nice caches and enjoy the pictures at the bottom at your own risk – they do contain spoilers!

A real nice hiding place.
Today I have tried to find a few caches. But in the end there are only three to talk about. The first two where easy finds but the third one, well, I didn’t even get to really search. But lets start at the beginning. Continue reading
